The HSD Child Nutrition Department is modifying its Grab & Go program to a more convenient method with our new 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙡𝙮 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙗 & 𝙂𝙤 meal schedule!
🍎 Starting the week of May 4th, we will be moving to ᴏɴᴄᴇ ᴀ ᴡᴇᴇᴋ ᴘɪᴄᴋ-ᴜᴘ on WEDNESDAYS ONLY.
🍏 You will be able to pick up 5 breakfast and 5 lunch meals for each child between the ages of 0-18 each Wednesday.
⚠️ To help protect our staff and to make the process smooth please have your trunk or rear door open so staff can place the meals safely.
Any child between the ages of 0 to 18 is now eligible to pick up meals.
The child does not need to attend the Harrisburg School District to be eligible to pick up meals.
The child does not need to be present to pick up a meal.
This meal program is for the benefit of the children in and around the Harrisburg School District. Meals that are taken are to be consumed by the children in the household. Do not ask for meals that are intended to be eaten by adults.
The Harrisburg School District utilizes an online free and reduced meal application. This can be found on the
Parent Portal under Application/Forms or you can click on the link below. If you do not have a parent portal account please contact Jean Hudson at 605-743-2567 ext. 3010. If you are having difficulties with the online application please contact Chris Beach.
The Child Nutrition Department utilizes a computerized point of sale system to track student meals and account balances. All students are issued an Identification Badge which is linked to their individual account. Students are required to present their Badge when they check out at the end of the meal line. Money can be deposited into a student’s individual account either by sending cash or check with the student to school or with a debit or credit card via the
My School Bucks website. When a check is sent please indicated the student’s name(s) and dollar amount to be deposited, in the memo section on the check. The Harrisburg School District strives to provide an efficient, low cost, food service program to its students and appreciates your contribution by maintaining a positive balance in your students’ accounts.

My School Bucks website. You can also check your student’s account balance or activity via the My School Bucks website.

Breakfast $1.40 for all paid students. $0.30 for reduced students. $1.90 for adults.
Lunch $2.75 for Elementary, $2.95 for Middle School and $3.05 for High School. $0.40 for reduced students. $3.75 for adults.
Ala Carte $0.40 for an extra milk and $1.40 for an extra entree. Prices for items at the student stores will be posted in the stores.
