Identification Timeline
Referrals for assessment can be requested by teachers or parents. Parents must complete a permission form and parent checklist to start this process.

Tiger Reserve
Tiger Reserve is the full-time option available to students in grades 2,3,4 and 5 from any elementary building. Transportation to Tiger Reserve is provided. Students and families electing to join a full-time Tiger Reserve option need to know that students are expected to work hard to develop academic behaviors and habits.

Tiger Trek
Tiger Trek is the send-out program available at the elementary level in all elementary buildings. Students participate in academic enrichment/extension lessons for 75 minutes for three consecutive days in each unit.
Unit 1: Inventors and Inventions
Discover how some everyday objects were invented.
Practice the creative process by brainstorming, tinkering, and beginning to create new inventions.
Express individual and group creativity through open-ended discoveries and inventions.
Invent applications to extend the use of specific techniques.
Use scientific thinking processes to conduct investigations and build explanations: observing, communicating, comparing, and organizing.

Schedules with dates and times for each building are sent to participating Tiger Trek learners' parents and teachers via email. If needed, please contact Mrs. Lape.
