ERIN OSTER

The Harrisburg School District and an area business have teamed up to recognize the Harrisburg School District "Support Person of the Year." This year's selection committee is made up of Sanford Health representatives. The award recipient is selected by this committee from a pool of nominees. Harrisburg School District staff are encouraged to nominate a staff member who has made an impact on their school and students.

Harrisburg School District is proud to announce Mrs. Erin Oster as the 2023 Harrisburg Support Person of the Year. Erin was nominated by a colleague who noted, “Erin is a creative, passionate, innovative, and forward thinking professional. Erin’s dedication to her position at Liberty extends throughout the building as she collaborates with staff to make literature come to life for our learners… Learners leave the library each week with a love of books, knowledge of how a library works, research skills, creation, and the ability to explore. Erin Oster is an instructional and cultural leader at Liberty. Her professionalism, passion and heart for learners and igniting their love of reading makes her an invaluable asset to our school community and I would like to nominate her for Harrisburg’s classified employee of the year.”

Our congratulations go out to Mrs. Oster for receiving this admirable award. Erin has worked in the District for 6 ½ years. Mrs. Oster and her husband, Stu, have two children in the District, Elliot and Emerson.
