At the board meeting last night, the WEB program was highlighted as a leadership opportunity for 8th grade students that supports incoming 6th graders across the district as they transition into middle school. The program begins in the spring with 5th grade visits and continues into the fall with student-led orientation activities designed to build connections, increase comfort, and ease anxiety for new middle school students. #TigerProud 🐾

We love celebrating the hard work happening in our classrooms, and today we’re giving a good news call to a 5th grader who is truly shining!
This week, he has truly stepped up as a role model - demonstrating strong focus and a committment to accuracy in everything he does. We are especially proud of how he was striving for accuracy in math while solving multi-step word problems.
That kind of perseverance, focus, and attention to detail is what helps learners grow! Keep up the amazing work - we are so proud of you! 👏✨

We are so excited to welcome Coach Sloth, a children’s author and speaker who inspires students with messages of kindness, confidence, and positive choices.
Best of all, his visit is being offered at no cost to our school and families. ❤️ To help support his work, families will have an optional opportunity to purchase his books. 📚 An order form was sent home with learners last week, or you can order from his website listed below.
Coach Sloth will reference one of his books, Hank the Bully, and our Student Council has been helping introduce this story to build excitement for tomorrow’s visit.
Make sure to check out his website at www.coachsloth.com and ask your child about the visit! 💙

Students spent the morning exploring careers and learning from professionals, high school leaders, and community experts. Thank you to everyone who made this inspiring day possible!

Today we had the joy of making a Good News Call home for one of our shining stars in 2F! 💛
She has been a phenomenal helper and friend to everyone. Without being asked, she steps in with kindness, includes others, and makes sure everyone feels safe and welcome.
This is what “Shine Bright” looks like in action — kindness, leadership, and lifting others up. Way to go, sweet girl! We are so proud of you! 💫
