Our Horizon Fun Run was an incredible celebration of teamwork, school spirit, and community support! Over the course of two weeks, our learners worked hard to raise funds for our school, and they finished the fundraiser in the best way possible — by running 35 laps during the Fun Run event! The day was filled with energy and excitement as fun music played across the playground, sprinklers kept everyone cool, and families gathered to cheer on our students as they ran their hearts out. It was truly a day filled with smiles, encouragement, and Horizon pride.
The fun didn’t stop with the race! Our amazing PTO was on-site selling Tiger Wear, and our Horizon Cares group hosted a lemonade stand that added even more fun to the festivities. As a reward for their hard work and positive attitudes throughout the fundraiser, students also enjoyed a special celebration that included 30 minutes at a PAWS Party on the playground and 30 minutes bouncing and playing on inflatables. Seeing our learners celebrate together made the day even more special.
Thanks to the generosity of our families, staff, and community members, we are thrilled to share that we raised over $35,000 for our school! We are so grateful for everyone who donated, volunteered, cheered on our students, and helped make this fundraiser such a success.
