At tonight's board meeting, HHS’s eSports coaches provided an overview of the program and highlighted the team’s accomplishments. We currently have the second-largest eSports team in the state, with 16 players qualifying for the state competition. Beyond these impressive achievements, what truly sets eSports apart are the meaningful friendships and connections our students have built through their participation.
South Middle School’s Leadership Council shared that the Leadership in Action program has a positive impact on the overall school climate by promoting kindness and inclusion. Students and staff are actively helping create a more connected and supportive school community.

At tonight’s board meeting, Mrs. Slaba presented on a collaboration between the Tiger Reserve and the High School ASL (American Sign Language) 3 class. The first unit of the year focuses on learners who demonstrate courage in the face of challenges. During this unit, the high school reached out to partner with us, and we were thrilled to work together on this meaningful collaboration. We are #TigerProud! 🐾

At the school board meeting tonight, Horizon Elementary first-grade teachers shared how they build a positive school culture by clearly teaching expectations and consistently recognizing students for practicing safety, accepting responsibility, working hard, and showing respect. Students are encouraged daily through Minga, recognized weekly with Fri-yays, and celebrated monthly with Tiger on Track, with first-graders surprising board members with PAWSitive notes. Adventure Elementary highlighted a mentoring partnership where fourth- and fifth-grade students support younger learners through academics, behavior modeling, and relationship-building. The Big Buddy program builds skills, confidence, and connections across the school community. We are #TigerProud! 🐾
