All Journey students have been learning about the voting and election process this week. Students voted in our own election, and after a long night of Mr. Sylliaasen counting absentee and mail in ballots, President Trump was the winner at Journey.


This young man was nominated for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for bringing wonderment and awe to Mrs. Martinโs class when he spotted a deer outside the room!


This young man was nominated for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for his great attitude with taking his Social Studies test. He made a goal and was proud of himself afterward. He was so thrilled with how he felt after the test that he gave his teacher a big hug!

This young man was nominated for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay by Mrs. Honner. He has been working diligently in math and reading to hit his goals. He has had a great attitude and has been putting forth the effort to keep persisting.

This young lady was our #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay today. She has been working hard on her writing - proving to herself that she CAN do it! She has been a great role model for mask-wearing and is a great person to be around. She is friendly and always ready with a smile!

This young man was nominated by Ms Rieger for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for being a great friend. Today in PE, instead of winning a race, he stopped to check on someone from another team who had fallen. A great example of leadership, kindness and sportsmanship! #ProudPrincipal

These young ladies were the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay from Mrs. Wiekingโs Class. They took time from their day to interact with a Distance Learner over Zoom to make sure the student felt connected to friends at school.

This young man was our #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. He was quick to ask Mr. S to be his reading buddy when he came into the room this morning. He read him two books and showed him all the hard work he has been doing.
